We saw the clouds coming and not anticipiating how heavy it would be, stopped briefly to don coats and hats. When it hit us we we on a pretty empty strech of motorway so were able to maintain 30-40 mph (well pleased with the new tyres!). With the windblocker, most of the water went over the top but I did put a towel on my lap as some rain hit the sunvisors then dripping into the car.We thankfully missed the hailstones though!
