Beans
$100,000.00 US Dollars for an Amphicar ........ ??) ??) ??)Always knew something was wrong over there on the other side of the Big Pool ... or was it an uprated one by Chris Witor ;D
Goody
Seems we should start a new thread on this but Amphicar's have new interest here. Adds in Hemmings have them for $25,000 and up. Even rusty ones command good money. Here in the land of excess thats just to excessive!!! :o(

val1300
Good god, really ? What is the world coming too. Can't really imagine Sean Connery settling for that.
Tim Bancroft
Simple reasons for using the Mondeo:1.Accurate mileometer, therefore no problems with the road book.2.Did 600 miles, and did not want to put too mileage on the car, also at 25mpg it would have cost the Club alot more than the Mond. at 35mpg.3.Nigel Abdullah was with me and it was more comfortable. All recce work now done- the new bit in Wales is terrific!
