Phil Wright
So with the entry list full, it looks like we should easily be able to smash last years total raised for charity! I've already collected £20 (Cheers Ally Simon!), and the girl I spoke to at Enfield Travel Inn will also sponsor us!Roll on October!Phil

Jason
Welcome on board Bill - you'll find much talk of driving events an using cars here, we do occassionally clean 'em but mainly we drive 'em, far and often :-)
Tim Bancroft
Well more entries tonight which unfortunately have to be reserve entries at present. So the number is at 103.
Rumpith
Shouldn't Chris' car be listed as "Spitfire 3500 V8" (not Spitfire 1500) ?It would be nice if some of the reserve teams could make it to the start to see everyone off...

Being a reserve is no fun...
Tim Bancroft
I think I will end the reserve list at 105, I do think all crews on the present reserve list will get in!

I can see why it's listed as a 1500 though - that IS what it originally was, after all...

Tim Bancroft
Its the only way to list them all, nearly every car is modified in some way.
Rumpith
Don't worry, my comment was firmly "tongue-in-cheek"...Chris' car MODEL is a 1500, regardless of what he has under the bonnet. BTW Chris - have you changed the badging at all to reflect the lump? The way things are going with my restoration the RBRR will be its first proper outing! I can't see it being back on the road before the June Pendle & Pennine meet at the moment (even though I was hoping to be able to drive it on my 40th birthday - 2nd April!) Chris
Quoted from RumPith BTW Chris - have you changed the badging at all to reflect the lump?Nope. I prefer to keep people guessing as to what it is.Right up until I fire it up, anyway... ;D

Hows that work Bancroft? Here's me trying to decide between me Amphicar and me Pony 4x4, and you have only gone and listed me with a Vit 1600, what's that all about? GTRoger
This means you have to bring the Vitesse!!! ;D
Tim Bancroft
Dave,Just decided to nominate your car for you! Let me know the reg. no. of the Amphicar and I'll stick the details on the list. By the way the RBRR is not a democracy, its a dictatorship!
James
Surely the Amphicar is the only Triumph that can really go round Britain?
Beans
If it isn't sunk long before in a gale near, say, Hartland Point. And with a "cruising" speed of only a few knots per hour it will need a bit more then 48 hours to go round :P
