:P
Of course us smug muthas in six pots only have to flex the foot in a tunnel for the best and most melodic tune to come out in all its glory!

:P When you have a WEBER INDUCTION NOISE louder than the exhaust, who needs six pots ;D

I was going to reply along the lines of

6 cyl, 4 cyl - who cares :P

Then I thought, you are right Mr B - my 4 cylinder especially with the sports exhaust seems a bit "gruff".

I suspect a 16 valve unit tho would sound different again
Back on topic, I have stuck the GB sticker on the back of BRP so all the preparation must be done then ;D
:)How common, only the best for the White Tornado CHROME GB Badge not a sticker :P :P

The list of work needed to be done to my car is as follows:

1.Collect brake servo from re-conditioner and fit
2. Fit new map light
3.Fit steering wheel- fairly essential
4.Fit secondhand centre console
5.Balance wheels
6. Adjust passenger seat
7.Fit auxillary front driving lights
8.Change rear springs to 575lb items
9. Change main beam switch from foot operated switch to a  togggle switch
10. Fit cigar lighter sockets- 2no.
11. Sort throttle linkage
12. Wash vacumn and polish the car

Thats it- famous last words- a weekends work.

Gutted that we are not going to Warsaw!

Good double bluff Tim ;)

They don't know the route is still 10 countries but not the ones they are expecting - just wait till they see "turn left at Calais" and keep going :D

Hope everyone likes beetroot

Got my bearings today!

Worth the wait? I think so! Totally surprised too - as I was expecting machined Mini ones - instead I've got the real thing because I waited so patiently. An original set of Vandervel VP2s - rare as hens teeth or what!?

You won't be able to get another set of these - but can highly recommend Dermot McGivern at Power 4 Peanuts in Walton-on-Thames - a super old chap.
