Hi Richard

What a fascinating story. I look forward to seeing your car on the event.

Regards

Bruce

Bruce, I first heard about the car nearly 30 years ago and have been trying to buy it ever since, but the owner wouldn't let anyone look at it, let alone buy it. It took until last year to finally get my hands on the car, and nearly a year to recommission her, still making a few tweaks even now. You can see the story of the car in the attached file

You mean you wont be using any of those other cars you bought for the RBRR but never got ready on time? 😉

The Sprint is the car Chris bought for it in 2021, so I am not the only one to take my time.

And....... the Mk2 2000 was purchased for it with a month to go, fully recommissioned and behaved faultlessly.

I won’t comment on the other 2, except, maybe next time.

😞

Team "Are We There Yet?"

Both RBRR virgins 😳

Been restoring my Vitesse for the last three years and not quite on the road/finished!

Thought the RBRR would be a good test of my spanner skills!

......what could possibly go wrong?
