Beans Posted August 14, 2013 Author Share Posted August 14, 2013 The half shafts I had lying around turned out to have worn bearings too.So replaced the bearings on the original half shafts.But this meant there was no time left to clean the fuel lines and carburettors, that'll have to wait till the weekend. Hoping to take to Stafford this w/e for Mike Papworth to have a look at.Header tank installation to be designed, procured & installed.Refurbished alternator to be collected & fitted.Broken, dismantled hood frame to be repaired. Leaving Perth on Wednesday evening for UK holiday with the family - Eurostar booked to Paris on the 1st September and TGV booked back to Calais for Thursday am start in the Shackmobile. Overdrive wiring needs to be sorted and the speedo isn't working, although I expect to find some more little issues!
